a little country, a little city

Just over the Hudson, I found one of the most interesting spots. It's located up on a hill looking right over to New York City. The views of the city are quite beautiful. Really beautiful. Beautiful & contrasting. It feels like you're in the country but can reach out & touch the city. Maybe it's the log fence & trees that create the illusion of being so far & so close. In the country & in the city simultaneously. I think it's the stillness of this spot & the sight of a city with so much activity that makes it feel like I'm in two places at once.

  5. Such an immensely pretty capelet. I've been feeling those this year so, so much and recently bought my very first one (a black faux fur number to help keep my shoulders warm all winter long).

Thank you very much for recently entering my giveaway for a beautiful set of Jessie Willcox Smith art prints. The lucky winner is going to drawn at random and announced on Chronically Vintage later today. I really appreciate your support of this giveaway and wish you the best of luck!

    Have a splendid Tuesday, honey!
